The National Organic Coalition is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Coalition Manager to support our small, mission-driven team and coalition of national organic advocates. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing multiple projects, enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, and wants to deepen their understanding of food and agriculture policy.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual events, including meetings with policymakers.
Supporting fundraising and communications (newsletters, social media, donor outreach).
Managing financial and administrative tasks (QuickBooks, invoices, budgets).
Maintaining internal systems and CRM database (EveryAction).
Supporting coalition member engagement and internal operations.
What we’re looking for:
2–5 years of nonprofit, operations, or event coordination experience.
Strong communication, tech, and project management skills.
A passion for equitable food systems and organic agriculture.
